In collaboration with LagunaB these drinking glasses are hand blown on the island of Murano, Venice. Glass manufacturing, guarded as a secret for centuries on the island of Murano, is also a slow apprenticeship — one, like jewellery making, that is out of sync with the pace of much of our modern world. As such, the number of independent furnaces and master glass blowers on Murano has been declining for years.
By partnering with Laguna B, Carolina Bucci hopes to join their vision to preserve this important industry.
This glass is approximately 12cm tall. Shown here in orange with a touch of gold — the pattern of each glass is unique.
